Objectives and Programs

Iran Feed and Grain Importers Union (IFGIU) is the largest non-governmental organization of importers and suppliers of the livestock inputs in Iran. The union was established to play a pivotal private sector role to realize Article 44 of the constitution and their active and constructive participation in supplying an important part of the country's demands for imported livestock inputs. As a comprehensive national trade union, the IFGIU is committed to protecting the rights and privileges of trade union members and to coordinating their professional and specialized affairs in interaction with various government agencies, as well as raising the level of awareness and knowledge and managing and resolving business and professional problems. The union is also determined to assist its members to make sound and right decisions providing the most up-to-date and accurate data, information and analysis available from the domestic and international markets.
